Day 1: Dar es Salaam → Fly to Nyerere National Park → Boat Safari
Morning transfer to the airport in Dar es Salaam for your scheduled light aircraft flight to Nyerere National Park.
Enjoy scenic aerial views of rivers, forests, and vast savannah landscapes as you fly into one of Africa’s largest protected areas. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge or tented camp and check in.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife in a peaceful, close-up setting.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar.
